Each learning environment we offer is designed to correspond to the child’s needs at a particular stage of growth. Children are placed in the program level that best matches their period of development. During the school year from September to June, Splendor Bilingual Montessori School offers a Toddler Program for ages 15 - 36 months and an Early Childhood Program for ages 2.5-6 years. A 9-week Montessori immersion Summer Program is offered for ages 1 - 6 each summer.

The child’s transition from one program to the next is determined by their current teacher along with the teacher of the next program and the Director. This decision is based on a number of factors: the nature of the individual child’s readiness, the child’s behavior and experience at the current level, and the child’s interest and age. Each teacher has intimate knowledge of her own classroom community and seeks to provide for the needs of the individual child as well as to preserve a balance among the diverse needs and contribution of the whole class.
