ENRICHMENT & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

In the Montessori environment, children are exposed to a variety of experiences that enrich their academic experience and develop the whole person.

The following enrichment programs are offered to all toddler and primary class children:

Dance

The dance program is an exciting and fun curriculum taught by professional dance teachers. Through a variety of movement emphasizing basic rhythm, balance and coordination, your child will explore a wide variety of movement styles. Dancing in a group helps to build social skills and teach team work. It’s great fun for boys and girls!

Physical Education

The Physical Education program gives children the opportunity to learn cooperative games and basic sports in a fun and interactive atmosphere. Positive encouragement, teamwork, problem solving, good sportsmanship, and physical exercise are key components in our Physical Education program. They can also continue to practice self-respect and respect for one another.

 

After Care

Splendor Bilingual Montessori pre-primary and primary children may attend aftercare, which runs from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.  Snacks will be provided for the children. Aftercare programs include Spanish class, martial arts, crafts, art lesson, story time, and fun activities inside and one hour of outdoor play.
